| Cheonhakjeong Pavilion
was built at the coast of small
mountain where pine trees are
flourishing in the village of
Gyoam-ri in 1931. It has 2 rooms
in front and 2 in side, and single
floor with octagonal roof with
double eaves. It has beautiful
sight because it was built on
the heaven blessed fantastic rock
cliff looking down to the sea
that has the mystery of the East
sea. It's facing Cheonganjeong
to south, and Neungpadae and Jukdo
Island is near to north which
makes it even more beautiful.
It's called Cheonhakjeong Pavilion
because it is said that this pavilion
is in the mirror that reflects
heaven's light up and down. Looking
down the waving sea will make
you forget all your worries. |
